A living will state's one's preferences for care when one has a terminal condition or is permanently unconscious. If someone in a Long-Term Care facility or a hospital wishes to execute a living will, an Ombudsman Living Will Witness must be present to help them understand the Living Will document and serve as a witness to their signature. If you are interested in becoming certified to do this, attend our training!
