As a board-certified patient advocate in South Carolina, I work closely with seniors to ensure they have a voice in their healthcare decisions and receive the care they need. I facilitate communication between seniors and their healthcare providers, assist in understanding medical conditions and treatment options, and advocate for their preferences to be respected. I also help navigate complex healthcare systems, provide emotional support during challenging situations, educate on patient rights, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
