Personal Care services offer assistance to clients, who have experienced a loss in their ability to perform the activities of daily living, to remain in a safe, clean and healthy home environment. Personal Care Services includes "Activities of Daily Living" which refers to activities including; bathing, dressing, transferring, using the toilet, eating, oral care, and walking, which reflect clients’ capacity for self-care.

Respite Care - In-Home
Respite Relief Care offers services furnished on a short-term basis because of the absence or need for relief of those persons normally providing the care. These services are ideal for relieving the primary caregiver for rest and rejuvenation, attending social events, or vacation. This service allows the client to live at home in lieu of an alternative setting for respite relief.

Often, these individuals live in assisted living facilities or live in their own home. Although these individuals live independently, they still may need home care assistance due to their age, disability, or chronic medical conditions.

Description of Organization
Koger Home Care, LLC is a non-medical home care agency. Our agency provides care to all age groups in many counties across the state. We strive to assist our clients with their Activities of Daily Living Skills (ADL’s), such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, and medication reminders. Additionally, we offer errands, light cleaning, transportation, companionship, respite relief care, as well as live-in caregivers. Our services are designed to allow the client to stay in their home in lieu of residential nursing facilities.
We provide services to all age groups. Our services are perfect for clients who are seniors, disabled, veterans, critically or chronically ill, after surgery care, head injuries, cancer/chemotherapy, injuries from falls or accidents, immobility, kidney failure/dialysis, non-compliant behaviors, and more.
We specialize in clients with memory and cognitive dysfunctions (Alzheimer’s, Dementia, strokes, Parkinson, etc..), mental health diagnoses, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Our caregivers are experienced, extensively trained and must continue quarterly and annual training, are background checked and compliant with state standards, as well as must pass drug screening.
We observe major holidays and will not provide services to clients during these times.
We accept clients of all ages, and applicants over 18 years old.
