Speech Therapy
Services include comprehensive speech and/or language therapy and speech therapy for Parkinson's, Aphasia, communication after stroke, and other conditions.
Due to a 5-year grant from the Parkinson Voice Project, patients who have Parkinson's are able to receive FREE speech therapy, called SPEAK OUT! Individual and group therapy sessions can be provided. Face-to-face or virtual sessions can be arranged. Patients should ask their doctor or primary care provider to make a referral. Description of Organization
The Montgomery Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic provides evaluation and treatment services for all ages. Focus areas include articulation, language, voice, hearing, stuttering, and everyday communication, among others. Individual and/or group programs may be recommended. Innovative services that align with research and best practices are conducted by graduate students under the direction of certified and licensed speech-language pathologists and audiologists. Individuals receiving services at the Center may be invited to participate in research during their treatment.
Our purpose is to provide individuals with communication disorders with the highest quality and most effective evaluation and treatment in order to improve social, educational, and vocational participation.
