Disability Supportive Housing
Program provides a volunteer, licensed Occupational Therapist to provide a Occupational Therapy Evaluation to assess the home environment of disabled clients. Due to the nature of our program, the assessment focuses primarily on the bathroom, particularly looking at safety and independence with getting into and out of the shower or tub as well as on and off of the toilet. We will also talk with clients about other areas of the home, such as getting in and out of bed, reaching into cabinets in the kitchen, getting in and out of your home, etc., where they may have concerns.
