Senior Resources is a non-profit organization that coordinates services, provides resources and encourages the personal choices that allow Midland's area senior citizens to remain independent. Services include meal opportunities (home-delivered meals and group dining meals) and wellness centers (senior centers). Volunteer opportunities are available each weekday for Meals on Wheels.  Low and no-cost services are available. 

Home Sweet Home In-Homecare is a licensed DHEC provider, providing non-medical care in the homes 
of clients and within facilities.

Home Sweet Home In-Home Care Services specializes in care for those with Alzheimer's 
and Dementia and can help families by allowing adult children to have peace of mind and

Mother DeVeaux Adult Daycare is a social non-profit organization that focuses on cognitive health and socialization.  We offer a service that not only supports an opportunity for respite care but also includes activities to help enrich the lives of our clients.

Always Best Care is A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).  The agency specializes in in-home care for seniors, but it also helps find senior living at no cost to those seeking a place to live.  And to help seniors remain safe and comfortable in their homes, the company offers no-cost Remote Patient Monitoring equipment that has been proven to prevent hospital ER visits by 75%.

Griswold Home Care is a community-based service in Hilton Head that provides an affordable solution for individuals or couples who require non-medical assistance in order to remain safely in their homes. The service includes personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, along with transportation and errands if needed. Our services can be arranged for 6, 12, or 24 hour care. Custom shifts can be offered at 2 and 4 hour shifts. Care is available seven days a week, including holidays.

When routine tasks become too much to handle alone, Carolina Reliable Home Care offers hourly services to assist our clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, medication reminders, errands, transportation and much more. Koger Home Care, LLC is a non-medical home care agency. Our agency provides care to all age groups in many counties across the state. We strive to assist our clients with their Activities of Daily Living Skills (ADL’s), such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, and medication reminders. Additionally, we offer errands, light cleaning, transportation, companionship, respite relief care, as well as live-in caregivers. Our services are designed to allow the client to stay in their home in lieu of residential nursing facilities.

We provide services to all age groups. Our services are perfect for clients who are seniors, disabled, veterans, critically or chronically ill, after surgery care, head injuries, cancer/chemotherapy, injuries from falls or accidents, immobility, kidney failure/dialysis, non-compliant behaviors, and more.

We observe major holidays and will not provide services to clients during these times.  

We accept clients of all ages, and applicants over 18 years old.        

We offer a wide variety of activities to enhance the quality of life for our participants and their families. We serve both the senior population and young adults with developmental disabilities, individualizing programs to assist them to continue to grow, learn and contribute to the society. A hot lunch is served daily. 

We also offer free trial day passes at our day centers for those who would like to try it out, and accept many payer sources, such as Medicaid and VA. 

Potters of Eden is a licensed and full-service home care agency with trained caregivers. Promoting health, wellness, quality of life, and quality of home care to their clients.

HopeHealth offers a range of supportive services for its infectious diseases patients in coordination with their medical treatment, including medical case management. HopeHealth employs a team of medical case managers to serve as coordinators who work directly with the clinical team to manage patients’ medical needs, medication regimens, referrals, and other social services.

We accept all forms of insurance and offer a sliding scale for patients depending on income and insurance.

Many seniors consider their companion animals their family. They may not be able to afford to vaccinate or obtain basic annual care that is necessary in South Carolina's tropic‐like weather. Ideally, regular vaccinations and check‐ups will be offered through the program. Furthermore, transportation  throughout the state is a barrier, as most of the state is rural and many senior citizens needing  veterinarian services are homebound and unable to drive.  Through the generosity of South Carolina veterinarians, SCVets Care has stepped up to provide vaccinations, spay and neuter services,  diagnostic services and much more to senior citizen pets. 

We are unable to supply food. We do require an estimate of services needed which can be emailed to us at info@scav.org. 

If you are a senior citizen, disabled, or a caregiver of a senior or disabled adult, and their pet is in need of veterinary care, please reach out to us to help with your pets health needs. 

Comfort Keepers provides in home non-medical care.

For over 50 years our mission has remained the same; to ensure that no one in the greater Greer community is hungry, without adequate clothing, or socially isolated. And we fulfill this mission through our Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining programs as well as our food pantry, and clothing closet.
