DayBreak Adult Care Services provides in-home, personal care service to residents of The Midlands area (Richland and Lexington Counties), Aiken, Hilton Head/Bluffton, and Greenville area. Our services include bathing, dressing, companionship, household chores, meal preparation, errands, medication reminders. Our services are tailored to each person's needs and a free in-home consultation is provided. Sitting services are also available for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other types of facilities. If you don't see what you are needing, call us. Dedicated Senior Medical is a primary care center for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Dementia Dialogues® is a nationally registered and evidence-informed, intervention program. This 5-module training course is designed to educate community members and caregivers (formal or informal) for persons who exhibit signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). The modules cover valuable information and recommendations including an overview of dementia, strategies for effective communication, understanding the environment and ways to promote independence, addressing challenging behaviors, and creative problem solving. Dementia Dialogues® is offered nationwide by Certified Instructors in-person and virtually, and as a virtual self-guided training at no cost to participants. Dementia Dialogues® is provided through Office of the Study of Aging at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina.

The Department of Social Services provides protective services for children and vulnerable adults, adoption, and foster care services. It administers federal Title IV-B Child Welfare Services and Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Assistance programs. 

Additionally, a commodities program distributes supplemental food through a network of food banks. Other food programs provide financial assistance for child and adult care providers, homeless shelters, and summer feeding sites for children.  

Reports on abuse and neglect. 

We help seniors and older adults with non-medical activities of daily living including meal preparation, assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation and much more. Destiny Home Cares are available on an hourly or a live-in-basis. We are the experts when it comes to 24-hour live-in care.

Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities Inc. (P&A) is a statewide non-profit working to protect and advance the rights of people with disabilities. P&A provides information and referrals, training, abuse and neglect investigation, legal representation, and advocacy for policy change.

Diversified Training Consultants Group provides senior care management and dementia care planning while helping families navigate long term care.

Divine Care at Home is a non-medical team of compassionate professionals, trained to assist in the care of clients in the comfort of their own home. We assistant with bathing, dressing, remind of medication, light housekeeping, running errands, prepare meals, and more. We consider each client to be a member of our family while delivering personal care and compassion. We can help you, or your loved one, to maintain a comfortable way of life at home as long as possible. Our goal is to provide honesty, integrity, and great customer service in everything we do.

Edgefield County Senior Citizens Council, Inc., is a private non-profit, non-governmental organization 501© that has been providing services for Edgefield County citizens over the age of 60 since 1972. 

We provide meals, transportation, and a meal site. We are here to promote well  being and to enhance the quality of life for older adults in Edgefield, Johnston, Trenton, and parts of North Augusta. 

Edward Jones provides financial services to include retirement planning investments and long term care planning.
 

The Elder Abuse Training and Treatment Program offers free elder abuse training to organizations who work with the elderly as well as providing free telehealth therapy for South Carolinians 55 and up struggling with the effects of trauma. All services are free of charge and are available through telehealth. We are located at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing.

We offer a wide variety of activities to enhance the quality of life for our participants and their families. We serve both the senior population and young adults with developmental disabilities, individualizing programs to assist them to continue to grow, learn and contribute to the society. A hot lunch is served daily. 

We also offer free trial day passes at our day centers for those who would like to try it out, and accept many payer sources, such as Medicaid and VA. 

A welcoming facility for all adults, including employees to visit. Focused on providing In-Home Care, Day Center Care and Transportation needs for Seniors, Young Adults or the Disabled. Providers are First Aid, CPR and CNA certified and are required to complete Caregiver Training Courses including Alzheimer's and dementia care training.
